I can't find "The Walk" video. I have only seen it on a Snoop Dogg countdown as his 16th favorite video of all time. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Bootsy Collins? The Time's "Ice Cream Castles" sounds like it was cut on the same board with Prince's "17 Days." THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

Please do not post any Prince/Assoc. Artists videos from sites such as YouTube, MySpace etc. This is strictly prohibited for legal reasons, and we ask that all Org members please respect this. Note: Violating posts will be removed. 'Repeat offender' accounts will be deleted - permanently. You have been warned! The same goes for fake tracklists, attention-seeking 'rumor' threads etc - don't!
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

how is posting a video... bad... and what are the legal reasons... Since Camp Prince are kinda strict about these kind of things and videos on youtube are mostly in violation of copyright laws, it is kinda 'bad'. Anyway, I didn't make up the rules, sweetie, I just copy pasted them off the top of the forum. Sort of a heads-up, yanno? I love this Song!! The video (Like most videos in 1984) looked like it cost $1000.00 to make. Is it true that Jesse Johnson said the girl extras were ugly?

Whaaaat?! Damn.. Anyway, I ran a thread on here about the lyrics to this song, about black and white love. Always thought it was funny that P gave the song to The Time. The lyrics doesn't fit Morris for some reason. Always dug this line It's raining, mad sisters, why can't they realize that it won't be long Prince, if he had kept this one for himself, he would have caught hell from black girls. I can see why he was like "Hmmm, ...here Morris, u do it." SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

"its raining men"... but after a while i thought it meant angry black women... so i didn't know how to interpret it... but i don't understand why black guys.. try to make black females upset...

TotalAlisa said: ThePunisher said: I remember when James Mtume was on Video Soul years ago. He called the Time out for those lyrics. James was pissed! He felt that the words were very disrespectful to Black Women. He kept asking Donnie Simpson "What Do those Lyrics Mean" Donnie looked very uncomfortable. I believe it was because he was good friends with the band, Particularily with Jimmy and Terry. Prince should'nt have been scared to do that song. Quite a few of his songs up to that point had been just as controversial.

I think what he meant was to instigate... the song sound almost as if it was a joke... and to make or upset someone... and I don't even like when people try to instigate... even though.. I don't care who dates who... or other stupid things... just the fact that someone would try to instigate and irritate me on any subject... makes me angry

TotalAlisa said: ThePunisher said: I'm going to be very honest. The ONLY Black females that this song should've upset are the ones who have a problem with brothers dating white women, Or any women out of their race. But the thing is, The song is NOT saying that White Women are better then Sisters, Or visa versa. It's just saying that everyone has a right to date or fall in love with anyone, regardless of race.

I've experienced this many times so I know where P is coming from. He's not showing happiness or pleasure in seeing sisters mad. It's such a trip that I know this black girl who all she dates is white dudes. BUT, she STILL gets angry when she sees a brother with a non black woman. Now that shit's deep.
