What's P's last band up to?

I think they were really amazing musicians and Mr. Blackwell about stole the show on that last tour every night. John Blackwell more specifically but Rhonda and the rest? Any idea?

I don't know what tour you seen, but the shows I went to, Prince was never in danger of being upstaged by the overrated John Blackwell.

I don't know what tour you seen, but the shows I went to, Prince was never in danger of being upstaged by the overrated John Blackwell.


I saw him on 3 different dates and everyone I was with left talking about the drummer, maybe it's because I hang with musicians who play drums. shrug

I never understood when people here mention the term "overrated", who is rating? Is it just because the majority like someone? Was there a glowing review by someone with a rating scale? disbelief

I too am a drummer and sure he's flashy but he doesn't come near the funk or skills of Michael Bland. Sorry for using "overrated" I didn't think anyone would actually take it out their graphs or score sheets. I'll break it down next time.
