Thanks Krystal, always nice to see Vanity. Though I would have rather seen her in Purple Rain, who knows what the movies success would have done to her. Glad she managed to endure and turn it around eventually.
Nice to Micheal Jackson decided to dance backup for Vanity on Solid Gold (or whatever show that was). merf |

Thanks Krystal for posting it anyway.But I agree, I think Denise is trying to stop it all from being on the internet. I just hope she kind of understands that she will never be able to erase her past completely, with all due respect. In fact, I think she should be very proud of her past, even the mistakes. It's how we learn and move forward in life. Most recovered addicts tell people about their struggles and are proud to show what they've been through to show how far they have come.
'Wild Animal', the album was on Motown and I think it lists Vanity as the writer of the song.(I could be wrong there, but I do know she wrote most of that album's lyrics).It was a great performance anyway.Remember the video for PRETTY MESS. I am a big fan of Vanity. She is the sexiest woman ever! I wish her albums were available to buy on CD. You can't get them here in England, no one seems to know who she is. Skin on Skin is underrated, there are some great songs on it, especially Romantic Voyage and In the Jungle. She doesn't want to be called Vanity anymore, but there is no need for her to be ashamed or embarassed about her acting or music past. She was always a pleasure to watch and good entertainment.Vanity was beautiful, charasmatic and glamourous. I would love to see her do some more acting. She is a good actress. Casting agencies take note! | |
