Nikki Sixx, bassist for Motley Crue spoke about his relationship with Vanity in the book 'The Dirt'. He talked about her being psychotic. But so was he! He said it wasn't much of a relationship because it was based on drugs and entertainment. He also said that Vanity asked him to marry her one night, and because he was high, he said yes. They were never officially engaged. But what was really surprising is that he said he was sitting around watching videos one day and he saw 'Nasty Girl'. He called his management and they called her management. He used to call up models, porn stars, actresses, whoever he wanted to be with. That's how he met her.

Anyways, later on in his life, he met Donna D'Errico, former Baywatch babe. They married and had a child. After 9 years of marriage, it's over. Divorce court again! This is his second.

These idiot rock stars are so interested in just going for the looks, that they forget you need more than that. Although, maybe you don't. Donna is seeking spousal support (but of course!!). He's already paying his first wife off and their 4 children. No wonder he's always touring!! He probably needs the money!

I just find it really interesting how they sit around and only go for what they find attractive. I mean of course he's earned it, 'cause that's what the Rock 'n Roll lifestyle is all about. But then, he deserves everything he gets when these women leave him and take his money. I guess the average woman could do that to him too!

I didn't like him speaking so negativly about Vanity, but maybe he has a serious reason to. People say she is nuts. And he said she really annoyed him. She would ride around on a bike on stage while they were rehearsing.And she used to lecture them about drinking Coca Cola and that carbonated beverages would ruin their stomach lining, and then light up crack!!! Now that is really nuts!

But what really caught my eye and why I started this thread is because someone just sent me a clip of him calling a guy the 'N' word at one of their concerts. A black security guard hit or pushed a woman, and Nikki went off!! He called the guy a N....! And then he said 'Don't call me a racist!' Crazy stuff. So who really is the crazy one here. I guess he and Vanity deserved each other in their drugged days.

My friend met Nikki Sixx once and said he was a real A hole. You know how these rock stars end up acting this way is because their reality is so distorted. People interact with them so differently and alot of people will really do crazy things and allow themselves to get treated so bizarre by these famous people that the rock stars kinda end up getting a kick out of it.

As far as rock stars only going for a woman's looks??? I think alot of PEOPLE are like that in general, men and women, but as for rock stars I think they will forever be more in love with themselves than they are readily able to be into anyone eles.

I guess it goes both ways, 'cause Vanity didn't have to go out with him. She choose to do it, so they both deserve whatever they say about each other. But he said it was one of the most destructive relationships he ever had. I guess he's forgetting about the relationship he had with drugs that almost killed him!

Also, it was funny when he said one day he was at Vanity's house and some flowers arrived from Prince. The card said, 'Drop him. Take me back'. He said at first he fell for it, but now he knows she was just trying to manipulate him, and that Prince probably never even sent her flowers!

The things we do for what? A drugged rock star????

year. Tommy Lee used to date Mayte, who was Prince's first wife. Damn, is Hollywood that small of a town?????

I totally agree that this was a really long marriage in ANY terms, be it Hollywood Rock Star or not! They did seperate in 2000 but then came back together.

I totally agree that this is not the norm. Then again, everyone is different, every marriage is different, and I guess, every rock star is different!

Wonder what that says about the sanctity of marriage itself. I know that marriages do work, as I know alot of people who have been married for a long time. I guess it just depends.

I distinctly remember Vanity on Arsenio telling him she was engaged to Nicky and her name would officially be Vanity Sixx. She looked f-ed up on that appearance. I think this was also the interview where she referred to her black father as a monkey or gorilla or something like that. She didn't mean it to be an insult but it came out that way. What a non-pretty mess she was. Glad she got her stuff together.

Yeah, that was Vince who crashed his car driving drunk. And he got off for that! They sent him to rehab, as if that would make it all OK! But yeah, Nikki LOVES to tell people about all his antics. He is very proud of his lifestyle! He's also addicted to Playboy bunnies (he has married 2 of them).
