from what I understand, it will probably be only 2-3 songs by Wendy and Lisa, but the cause is very good and more than worth it. I don't know what songs they are going to be performing, but they are always entertaining.
Someone post the setlist and a review. The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

great solo piano set by Lisa, including IGABBOC, the "Cheerleader's Theme" from Heroes, "Don't Try to Tell Me", and others I hadn't heard before. I entered during Lisa's set, so I don't what I missed beforehand. Wendy wasn't able to make it. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Great Set!
I had no idea Lisa was pregnant, she seemed very happy but tired. And what a wonderful sense of humor she has. She's so funny and kind of a smart-alec... overall a great little set... Huh Lisa is pregnant ????
Anyways can anyone help me out with a lyric/song title thats driving me , sorry its off topic . It was during a fruit at the Bottom concert ???? As I remember it was Lisa singing and it was something like " my sister and I did run away " or something like that . Never heard it before nor since Thankie you

But where there other musicians there besides Lisa? And why couldn't Wendy make it? And how crowded was it? I think it was a good cause that Lisa's niece did this.
As far as Lisa being pregnant, well good for her and congrats. Why some of you are so suprised by it?

because its the first time we've heard of it....kinda like if out of nowhere someone nonchalantly posts that prince was married over a year ago...it would elicit the same response. Space for sale...

I loved the, "This is another song in the Key of C, the piano player's key. Then there's E, the guitarist's key. That's E, for easy. Just kidding." Did you leave right after's Lisa's set? I stayed through the next 2. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Me and my relatives were concerned about my moms who had her last child when she was 37 and plus being a smoker too. My little brother turned out okay even though he is so hyperactive now. I hope the same for Lisa and her unborn child.

First off: Lisa's what?!
And: I would have killed to see Lisa do a solo show. Whaaaa! Why is LA so far? Let's see, from memory, and I don't remember even most of it: My sister stands in front of me She's sorry that it hurts She traded (something or other) hopes, and dreams for (something) and silk skirts . . .

I stayed through the next 2. Yes I left. I had two friends with me who were bitching from the moment we walked in. I meant to go up to you and say hi but I'm a bit shy...
