She is pretty.
She usually looks a little annoyed in photos. A lot of women don't change their names right after a divorce. In this woman's case, I bet she can benefit from having P's last name (esp since people aren't sure if they are married or not). If she's smart, she'll keep the name until she remarries (but if she's really smart, she won't remarry). I think Prince and Vanity could have been the rock-n-roll equivalent of Will and Jada. Although, I have learned from Prince's friends and employees that Mayte was a really great person. Haven't heard a lot of positivity about Mani from them. (Volunteered info-not requested, b/c I don't really care.) | |

I think your right about some people not recognizing her last name as the same one as Princes'. It's a fairly common name. But when she's posing and promoting herself it is usually stated that she's married to Prince. | |

But when she's posing and promoting herself it is usually stated that she's married to Prince. Right now, when I see her in publications Prince's name is always dropped. They mention in articles that she is married to Prince. So even if the lay person doesn't realize P's last name is Nelson, they know this chick has been involved with him. Forget those people anyway. Trust me, the one's who count for Mani's circle and what she wants to achieve know that Nelson is her man Prince's last name. | |
