I am a Mayte fan but that has nothing to do with my perceptions of Mani's physical appearance. I truly think she's ugly. Look at the dark circles and creases under her eyes- she looks like she's 50. Also it's weird how her top lip is so much thinner than the bottom one. It makes the space between her nose and top lip look monkey-like. And her nose is a little too bulbous. And her cheekbones are too high, making her look gaunt. She could also greatly benefit from some blush or at least bronzer. She looks sallow in almost every picture I see. And she looks a little shiny sometimes.
To me in the above picture she looks just like the Grinch. Look at those eyes!

Please remember I'm only saying this as an explanation for why I and possibly some others think she's ugly. I'm not saying she's a bad person or anything like that- I couldn't because I don't know her.

I used the word ugly because it was the word used in the post I was responding to. I suppose I meant "unattractive". Whatever.
And I went into detail because that was the only way I could make my point to someone who thinks this view is made-up.
Looks are just looks- if she cares what some random person on the internet thinks of her appearance that's her problem. Like I said I don't know her personally.

I think the people who need to think more about what they say are those who basically suggested that I and other people who find Mani unattractive are dishonest. They made me feel that I had to be specific to make it clear this is an honest opinion.
I think it's much worse to call someone dishonest or question their integrity than something so meaningless as "ugly".

I wish I was ugly like Mani.

Before my post (#31) I've never said anything about Mani online or otherwise, but I was disrespected by the suggestion that no one could honestly find her unattractive because I do. As I've said numerous times now, the only reason for my comments was to prove that someone can honestly find Mani unattractive due to a difference in one's definition of beauty.
Suffice it to say by my standards of what makes someone beautiful I'm better-looking than Mani and I don't need to prove that to anyone.

I think that my post was one of the ones that you were responding to, and that's fine. I understand that not everyone sees beauty in the same people and that's also fine. I felt that some people had alterior motives for bashing Mani. However, it wasn't a personal comment on your sincerity as you had not posted prior to my comments.

However, although it's fine to find Mani unattractive I don't believe that it is necessary to go into minute detail as to what exactly you find unattractive about her. Just MHO.
