Obviously we know he also said do me baby but what Prince heard andre playing was took from eddie hazel; prince developed it into a full song.

As a Eddie Hazel fanatic, where the's connection between him and "Do Me Baby"? I don't hear it.

I'm listening to Eddie's 'Frantic Moment' right now (2004 cd reissue), and yes...the intro does resemble 'Do Me Baby' a lot, even the rhythmic accents!
To me this proves once more that Prince (and obviously Andre) were really P-funk connaisseurs at a young age. Keep in mind that Prince covered another quite obscure P-funk song in the early 80's, 'Cookie Jar' by Parlet.

A similar chord progression as on 'Do Me Baby' is used by Prince on the second part of 'Father's song' (movie version):

Notice the use of the slash chord Gm/D and the suspended chords, something Prince was very fond of, especially in his early years.

Btw. The use of a 'borrowed' chord progression is not a criminal offence (copying a melody line is...)
