Madhouse 20yrs later Jan. 21 1987 the world received Madhouse 8. To this day still, it is one of my all time fav Prince side projects. 8 is a classic in my book.Wish he had included some live footage in the Sign film. I know Eric Leeds has mixed feelings about it. But the quality of music speaks for itself. Hopefully one day P will do a special edition or something. In any event here to Madhouse 8 and all the great memories....

I'm lucky enough to have "16", the second album in cd! It's one of my most prized possesions!

I have heard both 16 & 24 however they don't touch 8!!!! They both had their moments. But 8 has more of a jazz feel. P was soaking up that education on Miles, Eric was giving him.
Plus who could forget that supa fine babe on the front and back cover!!!!! I always thought P was doin' a suttle nod to the Ohio Players concept. I remember old girlfriends used to think I bought the album cause of the cover. I have to admit it did make the purchase a little easier. I would love to see some tabs or charts for some of those tunes!!!!
