I Wonder Did Mayte Keep Her Prince Symbol Tatoo??? I was looking at the Emancipation Booklet Words and Pictures and notice Mayte had Prince's Symbol Tatoo; Wonder did She keep it??? Its on the Emale song page and doesn't look like the temporary tatoos. [Edited 1/10/07 17:06pm] | |

I think i'm correct in saying she never had a permanent tattoo until after they parted. I could be wrong but i'm almost certain that her current body art appeared around the time she was dating Tommy. She often had henna tattoo's during her time with Prince though, so if it's her it could be that. | |

I think Prince has said in the past the he would never disgrace his body with a tattoo, so I wonder if he was able to stop Mayte from getting a permanent one? | |

She had a dance symbol tattoo on her foot and she still has it...I doubt she ever had a symbol tattoo.

Mayte got two tattoos (that we know of) after her time with Prince. One is the Chinese word for dance on her left foot seen here in King magazine:
The other is of a cherry blossom which I believe is on her lower back, but I'm not sure. | |
