JESSE JOHNSON IS COMING BACK!!!!! This message was posted on his myspace site:
http://www.myspace.com/jessejohnsonfunk I recently recieved an update from Vic who is Gary Taylors partner on Jesse's new album.. it read: Jesse's record is very near completion. It should drop in the Janurary/Feb ( 2007 ) time frame. Sorry for the delay. But, Jesse is really putting is foot into this one. It is truely an incredible piece of work. Jesse will also start touring next year. So get ready for some real tight performances. The band will be tight and in the pocket as usual. So I hope you all come to the show when we hit your town. It will be really fun. | |

I hope it's either funk or rock and not some sellout midtempo shit hop like so many older artists have resorted to in order to get airplay. If it's sellout shit, I'd rather him stay retired. Andy is a four letter word. | |
