I don't know if Prince's divorce is final or not but I do hope they work everything out.Mani seems to be an elegant and gentle person. Most brilliant muscians are hard to be married too if you take a look through history.
There an old saying you must first fall in like before you fall in love. In other words become friends first. ( not to say it didn't happend that way btwn Mani and Prince) She was probably there for him at his lowest point in life after losing a child. Something that is very hard to deal with.
Maybe he should consider marry Sheila E. They are both dedicated muscians. They have a long standing friendship. Sheila probably know him better than anyone. Just a thought.

Prince has just recently employed two bodyguards (see picture bellow) to keep females away as he wishes just to concentrate on the funk, so far they are doing an extremely good job

Shelia and P have been friends for too long. Don't you think something would have come of the relationship by now if there were to be a relationship. I think Shelia know him to well and won't put up with his controling a**. She is independant and smart. She dosen't need him and if she wanted him for a while I am sure she could get what she wanted. Maybe hes not all that. He was going to marry her in the 80's so you know that she knows him pretty well, and still have a relationship with him. She is one of few wait she is the only one that is still in deep with him after a relationship. Again this is just my Sometimes I think he needs her she dosn't need him. He did say in a interview for the perfect band he would have her on precussions. Rhonda Smith on Bass ect ect.

I do agree with you Sheila is very independent and smart she earned a name in the business and is very well respected both as a musician and a woman she can actually go as far as she want to go...The fact that she still has a relationship with Prince and works with him occasionally show the kindness of her heart and her appreciation for everything he did for her. I think there is mutual admiration between those two... He is probably in more need of companionship than she is... But Prince has to realized that he approaching the big number and he needs more than a chair to fall back on.. Hopefully he'll make the right decision next time IF there is a next time....

Mayte.....I think there was something there too but, I think Mayte is going to do her thing and she isn't going to have P control everything she does now.
