I remember seeing this Soul Train episode in early 1983 This performance gave me a few "wet dreams" of my own

What's funny is,when Don Cornelius interviewed them,Vanity tried to deny that Prince had anything to do with their album.Back in these days,it was hilarous seeing Prince's proteges trying to downplay his contribution to their music,lol.

"They've written and produced all of the music on their first album for Warner Bros."

Yep, I remember when it first showed too. I have this on vhs. Vanity was so fucking fine back then. And man, did she know it.

It's funny listening to all the catcalls the ladies got THROUGHOUT the performance. I don't even hear that much hooping and hollering when I'm visiting the stripclub! Vanity had 'em losing their minds .

Actually, it was Vanity's sister, Patricia, who used to date Eddie. I remember seeing them on Arsino Hall show and at the time, Eddie asked Vanity about being arrested, and she had called Eddie to get her out of jail. And her sister came down there with Eddie. Vanity explained that her sister was with Eddie.
