God, Susannah looks rough. And she can't sing.

That band is called FunkSway, right ? Is it a real album project or just some folks jamming occasionally ?

I knew Ms.Badu was up to something when I heard her say "...so let the rain come down!" on her last album.

This is sort of old news.

Before the Music Dies came out early this year, and the band played (as Funk Sway) in Los Angeles in summer 2005, and at South by Southwest here in Austin last spring. Yes, they were tight.

If there's an album release coming, I haven't heard of it, but I'd love to be surprised.

But, if you haven't heard it yet, the Something New s/t from last spring has several tracks of their scoring. I know, not the same as an album, but it's something at least. (And two of those tracks just slay me . . . )
