"Hold Me" - Sheila E.

I just found the following performance she did (in Japan?) for this song.

Yeah, it's lip-synched, but still worth the watch.

Man, I used to love this song!!!

No, that is a killer slow jam. That's one of my favorite Sheila E. songs.

The only thing I found funny as hell about the lip synch was the dude on the end playing the sax when there is no sax anywhere in the song. Then there's this sorry ass clapping at the end -- were there only 10 people in the audience? At least give my girl an applause track.

Love that song!! I remember hearing it for the first time in late 1986.I couldn't believe it was Sheila E.! Her vocals sounded better than ever, and it was nice to hear her singing a truly soulful song.I thought this was gonna take her career in a new direction. The album is excellent too.

Sheila would be very pleased to hear the comments. By the way I'm flying Purple airlines via Prince Internatinal airport the only airlines whose flight attendants carry bongos to serve drinks. My flight should arrive at 14 hours Miami time, destination Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club target Sheila E, Pete Escovedo and Juan J. Escovedo, I will report live from the club via WPRINCE station....
