I think so. I ran across some photos of Vanity, and they look a lot like the recent photos of Mani.

Well, some fans are just romantic and nostologic and miss the 1999/Vanity days. Vanity had lots of fans and people just kinda like the idea of Prince and Vanity-the couple...just like any famous or even fictious couple that people fantasise about. So I guess lots of people notice the comparison of alot of Prince's ladies resembling Denise Matthews and like it because it is only reaffirms the idea that Vanity was perfect for Prince. Ofcourse we know that in reality that is not so true because they went their seperate ways a LONG time ago and seem to be happy with that.

So I guess people like Prince and Vanity the idea..the image...even though as people the whole thing is much much different to them. What can you say...some people just are VERY attached to the Prince world of 1983! Who can blame them? It was probably a VERY exciting time to be a Prince fan and be apart of that purple world.

Wow, the resemblence is amazing!

I hear the book is still being written. I just hope she will be as open as she can, given her current religious beliefs. She might not go into details about some things because of the content.Who knows.

But I will always be a Vanity fan, too. Loved Wild Animal and played the album over Christmas.I still say no one can touch her (literally!!!). But Beyonce....please!!!! Vanity had a natural beauty that when you looked at her, it was breathtaking. I remember Dick Clark interviewing her on Bandstand and loosing his mind!
