da Krash

Hey guys, I'm just looking for some information on "Da Krash" - I know it was a group produced by Jesse Johnson, but how many records did they release? I remember reading that they changed their name and released a new jack swing album as well - anyone got any more info on that?

I have a track by them called "Dance With Me", which album is this from?

They were first Da Krash, THEN they changed lead singers AND their name- they became Kool Skool. And after that, they had a more "New Jack" sound. Jesse produced BOTH and I have BOTH; Da Krash on vinyl, and Kool Skool on cassette and CD!!!!!

That song is from the first album. I have the cassete version of it sitting on my shelf at home. I can post more info on it later. I met them in Louiseville when they were playing there. Owen Husney was there too. I was backstage with them because I was with there friend Jonny L. whom I was playing music with at the time. This was back in 1988. I was under the impression that they made only one album and then Rob, the singer went to Chicago to work on another project. I could be wrong though. Incidentally I'd also like to get in touch with Jonny L. again. I'm sure he must be playing music somewhere. I'm not even sure if I spelled his name correctly. Sorry if I didn't wink

Jesse was on FIRE in 88: his "Every Shade Of Love" LP, the song "Blueberry Gossip" by TaMara & the Seen (the LP was alright), and Da Krash's album.....MAN!!!!!
