Madhouse 24 - three versions!

Eric Leeds says there were THREE versions of Madhouse 24 recorded, although none of them ever got officially released. A shame Prince doesn't do a Madhouse boxed set, but judging from what Eric says in this interview, Prince got bored with the whole project.

Does anyone know how to distinguish these tracks from one another? I am assuming there are three different tunes for each title no's 17-24.
