Bodyguards.

In different reports, I saw the name Trevor popping up a few times. Are we talking about Trevor Alan? Is he the same body guard he had at the celebration?

If not, who are they?

Trevor the bald bodyguard quit before the Xenophobia celebration, there was a new head of security for Prince. I talked with him and he said Trevor had a little family now.

That must be another Trevor then, because Trevor Allan accompanied Prince during the European leg of the ONA tour, which was after the Xenophobia event. And I even think I also saw Trevor at Paisley Park during that particular celebration but I´m not a 100% sure about that, there were lots of bodyguards and I was too busy doing other things.
Trevor is a really cool guy, in my opinion....really friendly yet serious at the same time, and he surely knows how to handle situations.

And I also don´t remember him being bald. Trevor is the guy from that basketball pic with Prince.

You are probably talking about Aaron, the bald headed white guy from the Gold Experience/ old NPG era .....right ? He can also be seen in several videos, including the Get Wild video.

We should really get a life. Sitting here, typing shit about bodyguards.... lol

Ah, Ufoclub, totally not related but THANK YOU SO MUCH for providing those useful links about SAW a couple of weeks ago...deeply appreciated !

I find it cool that Prince has bodyguards that are not just some hired, temporary guy in a suit but who work for him longterm and in the process become semi-famous themselves, like the unforgettable Big Chick Huntsberry and Trevor or Aaron or the orger Shellanswerman....and most of them are really professional, nice guys as well , despite all the gossip and rumors about Prince´s notorious bodyguards.

That's right. Aaron was the white bald body guard and he has a family now. Trevor was at the second celebration, I saw him. Now the question is: Does he still work for him?

I don’t think Trevor works for P anymore. Aaron is the tall white guy with the baldhead. http://www.industry-icon....brity.html He now works for Chaka Kahn http://www.industry-icon.com/event.html

Yeah, it's Aaron on the pictures. I liked him. I found him very professional as opposed to some other security staff who'd take advantage of their position to hit on cute fans.

If Trevor Allan doesn't work for him anymore, then why some fans are talking about a certain Trevor curretly working in Vegas.

We saw Trevor in Vegas in May also.

So who is this? (2005 Golden Globes)

(If the pic was higher resolution, I could blow it up and read his name on the pass!) wink

Thanks.

If Trevor's out of the picture, do you have any idea when he stopped working for Prince? I recall he was listed as "chief of security" or somesuch in the Musicology tourbook.

Not once on this thread does it mention asking about photos of Prince, so forgive me for being a little obtuse here, but I thought this thread was about bodyguards. Someone asked for a picture of Gilbert - and they got it. I just thought your response was rude, a little more tact certainly wouldn't have gone amiss.

Just sayin'.

Then, you should have corrected me by saying it was a picture of Gilbert which I misunderstood and which happens to all of us but does that give the right to qualify someone of being ingrateful or even rude, I don't think so. I said thank you.

Now, talking about being rude, I find it illegally rude to delete someone's thread like Serpan let's say just because you wanted to post your information first... just saying.

'Illegally rude'? Uhhh...never heard that expression before, but ok! lol I really could care less what you or anybody else thinks about that, or indeed me personally - for I make no judgements on you as a person. I simply stated that your post could have used more tact/politeness as it came across as rude - not that you as a person were/are rude.

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it: there are far more important things going on in the world than to waste time arguing about that - or indeed, this. For the record, (and for the hundredth time) that was nothing more than a simple misunderstanding that that particular orger chose to blow out of all proportion in public - not me. He was appraised of the situation privately via org note after he enquired, and could have continued to discuss it in private, but that wasn't enough. That orger put 2+2 together and got 6, as did other orgers who rallied to his side, thinking they knew the facts when they didn't. But hey, if you want to play that same tired ol' pointless game, then please - go ahead, knock yourself out, because I won't.

That said, kudos to you for offering your apologies. thumbs up! As far as I'm concerned it's case closed now cuz you did good.

Your move.
