Just watched Go-go Dancer: 
Just watched Drive Me Wild: 
It's a bad video, but it makes me miss the new wave influence. And I wish Vanity had done Purple Rain... it would've just seemed like a more complete snapshot of the era, you know? 
Just watched Mia Bocca.  Oh. My. God. Maybe I should stop here...
Just watched Ice Cream Castles to cool off. What fun! Man, I miss that album... when's that comin' out on cd? Also I noticed that blonde cutie from the Raspberry Beret video (who hands Prince the guitar) in this video. Who IS she??? Just watched Screams of Passion. God, I miss the 80's!  And Prince! You're single again! Call Susanna!!!
Just watched He's So Dull. Where was this song on the 'Valley Girl' soundtrack??? Just watched Koo Koo. Musically, beneath Sheila's talents. And the video didn't match the content of the song - I kept expecting the Fresh Prince of Bel Air to come dancing in...

Ryuchi Sakamoto w/ Jill Jones "You Do Me" is fun - Jill Jones' diva meets kimonoed doowop girls.
Wendy & Lisa's "Don't Try to Tell Me" is gorgeous and sorta serious. I love it. Their "Sideshow" is silly and a bit of a mess, but has twin confusion between Wendy & Susannah, so that's fun, too. | |
