You know what? Maybe Mayte for some reason likes Tommy, but I can't imagine why. he is so sleazy and hard for me to respect. I didn't know he was that candid about his sex like that.

Now, now. Let us not be hypocrites and paint Prince as the patron saint of prudence and morality, here. We should not forget that this is the man that gave us rather sexually radical fare years ago with songs such as Head, Sister, Let's Pretend We're Married, and that moan fest from COME called Orgasm. Not to mention the fact that he's never had a problem parading half-naked women around as stage props for his concerts dating back to the days of Vanity Six. Even in that semi-autobiographical video that chronicled the "love affair" between Prince and Mayte, he just HAD to stick in a scene with him dancing around on roller skates in a room full of naked women in ballroom masks, even though it appeared to have very little to with the storyline...hardly wholesome entertainment fare, one would think. Lastly, I must add that I have an incredibly vivid memory of Prince in concert, circa the CONTROVERSY/1999 years, in which the man had a giant bed rise from the stage. He proceeded to mount it and gesticulate a masterbation and fornication sequence that left me (and probably every other teenage girl in the house) so shocked, and well, "affected", that I have never been able to shake the memory of it (not that that was a bad thing!). I just think that Prince , in his artistic expression, has long been a sexual trailblazer of sorts and shouldn't be deified as the new poster child for morality now simply because he's donned (yet ANOTHER) religion. It might be fairer to view all of these new goings on from (ex-) members of the Prince camp in a more objective light. Particularly since, these people are fully grown adults who don't really need or care about our say in their personal life choices. In the end, it may be a better thing to realize and accept that EVERYONE on the journey of life has their own road to follow and should be left to do so as they see fit. I have yet to receive some great revelation from the Creator (or God or Goddess or Most High or Whomever you want to call Him/Her) that we human beings were put on this earth to judge others so harshly. Instead, I actually think, that just maybe, judgement of one's peers is probably best left to the Spiritual Power in which an individual believes.

Just a thought...
