No offence but she doesn't look beautiful at all. Nice body though, I wish I could be fit like that smile

Kim has moments when she definitely looks prettier and more "relaxed", especially in person. Keep in mind, the press is trying to get a good shot of Puffy, not neccesarily of her, so they won't be as mindful intrying to capture her magic moment through the red carpet lense.

And for the post before yours, that isn't a woman diddly-doo-doo is just now dating, that's the loooong-standing (some would say looooong-suffering) girlfriend and mother of his children...in the hip-hop world, those two are sort of like the Mick Jagger-Jerry Hall of celeb couples cool

Manuella Testolini is not ROSA PARKS or even Oprah, just because she cleaned up her look and gets good photo-ops. This is the same star-struck Prince fan who wiggled her way in his path, some how...got a job with him, hooked up with him before the ink on his divorce papers from Mayte were dry, married him, and was his arm candy until she realized being one of Princes women was not easy...probably lonely. Doing charity work was probably their idea as a couple (Gamillah, the name of one of his songs) and she decided to run with the idea so she wouldn't be bored at home (like many celebrity wives). I'm glad she is doing charity work for kids, but she's not any fiercer than anyone else who does charity work...from the heart, away from the cameras. Do I blame her for fashioning a career for herself as a fashionista/charity socialite by using her ex-husbands name?....No...a girls gotta do, what a girls gotta do. But please, all she did was get a stylist, a makeup artist, and a publicist (with his money no doubt), throw Prince's name around (possibly to be spiteful for being and absentee, unattentive husband) and Voila! she's a re-born saint???? Her true fierceness will show when we see what she does with her second act.....without using Prince's name. Can't sell candles & inscents forever.

For the record, I agree. But both women are great in there own right.

My mom met Rosa Parks at a dinner party years ago and said she the most unassuming, gracious woman. They were in the kitchen chatting and she told me Ms Parks said, "I don't know why they make fuss over me, all I did was sit down". As important as her actions were to Civil Rights movement and with all of her accolades to have still been that humble made me respect her more, RIP. And if you go by todays standards of what greatness is, if a young Ms. Parks, did the same thing today what she did years ago, probably wouldn't get any noteriety unless she had on the right designer outfit and had a good publicist to spin her story.

Oprah, as gross & obnoxious as she is, came from an poor/abusive background, runs a media empire, has made other people famous or wealthy just by product placement on her show, has given millions to educational institutions, built and is building schools, has helped out tons of people in need, Has gone to congress on behalf of abused children, and is buliding homes for hurricane victims. A self-made billionaire (without taking her company public) who 100% puts her money where her mouth is. When I give props it's for people who earned it, whether I like them or not. Lookin good on the red carpet means nothing.

I always thought Manuella was a pretty woman before the makeover, like most of Princes women. I don't feel that she needs to be Oprah or Rosa Parks or anyone else for that matter, but props for her will be reserved until she can make a statement on her own, with her own $$$$, and not use the fact that she is/was married to Prince or his last name as a selling point. I don't view her as some poor neglected house-wife who escaped her evil musician husband and is out doing work for the needy, when that seemingly wasn't who she was before she married Prince. She's smart, and knows how to manipulate her resources but that's all she'll get from me.

Malbena~ I also noticed that she looks as if she has put on a few pounds. That's probably a good thing as she was VERY thin before. She looks very beautiful in these photos. I love the casual look she's got going on. In one of these photos where she is wearing the white top and not smiling (it's kind of a profile pic) she looks really young. I thought that was interesting b/c so many people say she looks older than her age. She does look older with more make up on, but man, I think she looks great! She has GORGEOUS hair. I'd kill for that hair. razz

That's what I thought. She looks healthier with a fuller body.

Because without Prince, she can probably eat real food again.

Ok, show of hands, how many orgers would have went to work at Paisly Park if they could and found every way possible to make sure Prince got a look at cha, hung out for the late night copy jobs when you knew he was still somewhere in the building . . . How many did?

Ya damn right, I woulda if I was younger. lol

You bring up great points and make a very interesting post. The only thing I disagree on is the statement that working for the needy wasn't who she was before she married him. From everything I have read it does seem that she was into charity work for the needy and for children before she met and married him.

If she was doing charity work before him, I'll ease up. I guess to her whole press campaign looked like it started out as being purely for her charity then it started reading to me as spiteful to me...you know,..."I'm divorcing your little purple ass and I'm using that fact and your last name in print to help me get some noteriety for my product and rub it in your face, and look fabulous in photos so that you can see what your missing!" It's just annoying to me because it is suppose to be for the kids. Well, like he said...."Ain't no fury like a woman scorned"
