Ok! I have been thinking here it really don't make any sense to me yet, but will soon I guess.

Why is Mani selling altru products if her company is surpose to be a non-profit org ?


Ususally company like this don't ask people to buy anything to help surpport there cause, to my knowledge they have other people or company's donate money/ or the person themself donate to their company.

I never heard/ or about her using her own money to help her company.

It just kinda seem strange to me that all maybe she does donate I don't know but I seem to me that is unfair to ask people to donate money, because if that was the case wouldn't it became a profit org???


I never heard Bill Gates asking the public to spent money on his products or so on.

It just a thought I had I not putting her down or anything I just think it really crazy to ask the public to spent on her beauty products to help support a NON-PROFIT ORG.

and there are a LOTS of people who sell products to support charities... Elton John even has a line of candles too for AIDS. and now is breast cancer month and so many proudcts are support that. i think its better for her to give to charity than keep it all for her self ! i guess i think you should really think about what your actuallky saying because its strange. no offense.

Its nothing new companies selling something 4 charities. 4 example the company 4 the research 4 the Multiple Sclerosis was selling apples 4 a low price and then u r free 2 donate more.

Mhhhh... I think this is Mani who doesnt inspire trust... I WONT NEVER BUY any of her products .... She acts as she was the only one doing charity... There r lot of ppl or in my case ANIMALS who need help... not the "children" of Mani (or her way 2 make publicity at herself).

My thought is that IF U REALLY WANNA 2 HELP SOMEBODY u dont have 2 make all the world knowing above all using the name of the husband u r divorcing....

If she really wants 2 make charity why doesnt she help the dogs of Sesto Fiorentino (Italy) who r being kicked from their shelter and they r risking 2 b abandoned or worst killed? 4 dogs got poisoned.... (the fact is real, what I say was a provoking...)

Many company’s sell products for charities some give a percentage or all the monies 2 the charity.
A charity is a business and should be registered. Charities accounts are always checked over by a tax man 2 make sure no funny business is going on. Most people do not know this, say you donate £1.00 normally only .40pence is given to the good cause & 60pence is eaten up by administration costs.

It looks like Mani is attempting to cut down on the administration costs, by Mani promoting the Items for the charity the charity is receiving free promotion, a lot of charities sometimes use models this does cost the charity by doing the modelling & advertisements in literature,TV etc she is promoting the Items getting free promotion is a God’s send for a charity. Photographs, printing, paper, TV, Radio, Newspaper adverts all cost monies you know.
The more events she goes 2 she has the opportunity to promote the charity and this is free promotions is all good in my book as more money then can go 2 those who need it most.
I know how hard it is for charity’s you got to keep the charity in the public eye if you do not then not much money come in.

People give Mani way 2 much of a hard time she is trying 2 help those in need she was doing this before she went with Prince she is doing it after. Who cares if she uses the Nelson name after all this is her last name, if she can help a child receive shelter, food, clothes, vaccines (medical attention) give kids a safe environment to express themselves if its just doing sports, dance or something in art it keeps the kids of the street and stops them getting into trouble then I applaud her efforts.

You could also ask ur local newspaper 2 run a small column weekly saying what animals need adoption. Most local newspapers will be happy to do this.

**** I didnt need 2 contact local newspapers bcuz whats happening 2 Sesto Fiorentino is known in all Italy. Now I've heard that those dogs will b killed even if there r volunteers who would adopt them.... Im very upset and angry 4 it!!!!! I hope it will b stopped. HUMANS R SO PITYLESS.... Hoe this person cant understand how much LOVE animals can give?

Thanking God its not happening at the shelter where Im volunteer. Co-workers wouldnt work in a place where animals r killed or abused.
I've asked information about cat and dog food as u adviced me. This thing isnt done here but Im talking with my friends of A.VA.P.A 2 find a solution and offer it.

Please, say a prayers 4 these dogs... My heart bleeds thinking about them...

If you told the story 2 them how the shelter is closing, how difficult it is 2 run a shelter (the costs & what is happening to the animals etc). Have ur shelter contacted the food manufactures? If they do not give free food they may give large discounts, some do this just for a small advert of the food at the shelter. The more noise u make the more ppl listen. Get ur backside in chat tonight and I’ll tell you how we do it Lilith

I will do it... I hope 2 meet soon the director of the shelter and talk about food. I've noticed that ppl is willing 2 help with food....

2morrow I will meet ppl of A.Va.P.A. I will talk with the woman of the administration council. She agrees with me infact we r being considered a pain but its all 4 the good of animals....

Im still angry at the major of Sesto Fiorentino. He was giving space 4 those dogs and now he wants 2 kill all of them not caring that other shelters would take them and volunteers would adopt the dogs.... He should try how we suffer being poisoned... so I bet he wont do the same next time!

lots of charities sell special items to help raise money for the charity.
i see nothing wrong with it as long as thats where the money goes.

you can check out the budgets of the orgs to see if the money is going where its suppose to.

65% of an orgs budget should be going to programming.


Also, nonprofit just means there is no owner of the organization. Its a PUBLIC organization. A nonprofit must still make money to pay for the programs and services. Everything can't be about securing grants.

There's NOTHING wrong with selling products to support its mission. Museums have gift shops and most are nonprofit orgs. Goodwill and Salvation Army sell clothing. Its not uncommon.
