Sheila E's Non-profit Organization...

Just wanted to share Sheila's organization with everyone.

http://www.elevatehope.org

If you go to Events, then Past Events, then click on The 1st Annual Family Jamm, it will give you a listing of an apparently music fest they had in 2003, which included such artists as Susanah Melvoin, Jimmy Jam, Jerome, Carmen Electra, Wendy and Lisa, Jill Jones, Eric Leeds, Appollonia, Brown Mark, Bobby Z, Dr. Fink,...etc. It reads like a Who's Who of the Prince world. So where was I when this was going on?????

You can also buy items from merchandise area, is tax deductible and you help the organization.. Hope there is a Jam in New york some day. All the action seems to be happening in LA.. I can't Sheila play a solo performance unless she tours with Ringo....

You were missing one of my favorite concert experiences ever. That was a great show.

If you donate $50 or more, you get a signed (by Sheila) Jamm t-shirt, it's cool with all the names listed on the back.

It was a great show. The entire event was professionally videotaped but because of legal reasons, it will never be released. It's too bad because the show really rocked.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/
