The link between Sheila E. and MIA British group The Sundays???

If I'm remembering correctly, Sheila thanks the now missing-in-action British band the Sundays in the credits of her Sex Cymbal album. Does anyone know what their link is?

Or if I'm remembering something incorrectly, someone please set me straight.

I really am gonna look into this. It was so perfect a connection that at the time that I totally dismissed it as something I simply misunderstood. But it's been eating at me for years.

I don't know if there was a link, but she gave a shout-out to a bunch of her "idols" (including Tito Puente, Chaka, Sammy Davis Jr., and many others, including the Sundays). There were about three dozen people in the list.

Ahhhh... So she was just generally sort of giving props; not suggesting some direct connection to them.

Got it. thumbs up!

Not "lone!" shake

You bring the lighter. I'll bring the gasoline! Somebody's gotta raise a ruckus until David and Harriet take notice and drop us a new one! nod

I'll bring the pots and pans to bang on, too, then. A ruckus, indeed!!!

They've been disbanded since the late 1990s. Harriet Wheeler and David Gavurin got married and are raising a family.
