My wife(TMO 1965) and I will be there in FULL EFFECT!!! We live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and there is more to this story than one knows. Tamar was originally not scheduled to be the opening act. A highly talented local band led by Sean Griffin(guy who challenged Prince to a guitar duel in April 2002-New Orleans show) was the opening act. They were "scratched" in favor of Tamar being backed by another highly talented local band called 2 Hypnotic(led by B. Collier). Unfortunately, 2 Hypnotic was under contract for the Nov 3rd gig. So, the question is---who is going to back up Tamar? Many of us "Purple Headz" feel that NPG, who has backed her up in the past, may show. Maybe Prince himself may show. A long shot, but maybe not as long as one may think. This info was verified by my 1st cousin who is the program director of Q-106.5, a major radio station in Baton Rouge. To All Prince Fams in the Baton Rouge Area---we got to show up and jam with Tamar, Anthony Hamiton and Mint Condition!!
Note to Prince---show up and my brother and I will cook a seafood gumbo and jambalaya for U and all the roadies! Peace. [Edited 10/26/06 20:28pm] [Edited 10/26/06 20:51pm] [Edited 10/26/06 20:53pm]

I don't think you should be expecting the NPG or Prince to show up at this point. Prince has cut Tamar loose and she's totally on her own now. Maybe some of her old bandmates from Angaza? [Edited 10/26/06 22:52pm]
