I hope you guys show up. Kip is one of the most under-rated artists out there. I bought his last cd and was blown away by his talent. He's not a Prince-clone though. He has his own unique sound. That pentecostal rock kicks ass! For those of you who like rockers a la Living Colour, Kings X and Lenny Kravitz -- Blackshire is for you!

Kip is a phenomenal singer. But you ever notice how being affiliated with Prince tends to undermine one's career? I hope it doesn't happen in Kip's case. He's too good to be relegated to obscurity...

I've had the pleasure of seeing Kip perform alive in the TC (energy plus), he is great, and he does have his own unique sound. Get his CD - it is Kip Blackshire - not anything that sounds recyled.
