Happy 10th Anniversary Jesse Johnson album "Bare My Naked Soul" Bare My Naked Soul is Jesse Johnson's best album of all the four solo albums that he released. This cd had come out in 1996 and the guitar playing is SO AMAZING!

I remember the day I bought it (on cassette) in NYC in late '96. Was sick with the mumps but I HAD to get it
I stole a lot of guitar licks from that album. Thank u, Jesse!!! My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

Its been 10 years? Funny how time flies. You can spin that record now on rock radio and it'd still sound current.

THIS is the album I wanted J.J. to make back in 85 when he first went solo. It took him 10 years to finally shake the "pop syndrome" off his back and rock without truly giving a fuck. I knew he was dedicated to Hendrix from the get but he showed it in spades on this album. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

I only just recently recieved a real copy of this and was reminded it was 10 years go this was released, it's good to see he was still working with Kim Cage and Gabriel Acevedo (DaKrash/Kool Skool), the guitar work was his best to date and there is talk of another album supposedly coming soon, here's an except taken from myspace dated 04 June 2006.....
My name is Gary Taylor. I am 1/2 of Jesse Johnson's management team. Jesse is aware of this website and would like to convey to all his fans his heart-felt gratitude for your rememberance and support of him through-out his absence from the public spot-light. Jesse also wants you to know that he has been feverously working for the past three years on his album which will befinished this summer. His plans are to tour through-out the world beginning this fall....

I saw Jesse live in 1985 or 1986 when he was touring to support his first solo album. Bare My Naked Soul is a classic and I still play it.

Up until a few months ago, I played Bare My Naked Soul daily for about 1 year. The solos sound so damn good. I was looking so forward to seeing him live back in 1996...then there was silence.
