[i][b]Jesse Johnson is my all time fav prince protege. I felt he had the most talent out of all of them. i miss jesse's presence on the music scene. he was a mean guitar- i heard he had some drug or alchol problems and his wife left him.
his first record will always be my fav, for sentimental reasons but i also really like the "blue one"(he's wearing a blue jacket on the cover) and it has 'im just wanting you' on it. which is one of my favorite songs of his. Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND | |

Anyone who doesn't think that Jesse will whoop Prince's ass on guitar.....that's your opinion. BUT: I've seen The Time live in Buffalo in '83. THEY WHOOPED HIS ASS!!!! And Jesse????? WHEW!!! He was DAMN NEAR brakdancin' on stage, at the same time cuttin' the s**t outta that guitar!!!! Still don't believe me??? Watch the 1999 tour from Houston, Texas. SPECIFICALLY "777-9311" and "The Walk". I'm TELLIN' Y'ALL!!!!! AS dope as Prince IS on guitar, Jesse will f**k him up on guitar IN HIS SLEEP!!!!! CUT 'EM JESSE!!!!!
