No man you are not the only one wondering what happened to jesse. I
actually have his greatest hits collection i think it was issued by hip-o
back in 2001. It has all his good 80's stuff with a couple of b-sides and
an unreleased track called vibe that's hot. I also bought his rock album back
in 96 called bare my naked soul. Back in 1990, he produced nights like this for
after 7 and had a song on the white men can't jump soundtrack and just disappeared. Around that time, it was widely rumored that he was trying to kill
himself or something over a woman. Don't know if it is factual or not. He was
a hell of a talent in the 80's producing for other artists and he just mysteriously disappeared in the 90's before doing that rock album.I would like for him to do something and not just let his talents go to waste.

According to his MySpace page he's working on an album and it should be coming out soon. I have his Ultimate collection also and I love it. Every song is great, it includes some of his biggest hits and some previously unavailable stuff. I love all the songs, but I'd say my favorite is Free World.

If I had to guess, it's gonna either be a blues or rock CD. Reading the liner notes from Ultimate Collection, I get the feeling he's not too thrilled with the current state of R & B. I don't think ANYONE should be!!!! Whatever the case may be, I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!

Man, there are MANY folks on here that digs Jesse. Many. He's a topic in this section quite often.

Jesse's a great player, but he should never sing in public again. That demo of "Jungle Love" is PAINFUL.
