In a dream he said...

It is rare that my dreams have Prince. Anyways, I dreamt of him living on many different levels of a house. His recording studio was this dirt basement.

I asked him when the npgmc.com was coming back. He said Soon.

There you have it, straight from the ether that is my subconscious.

He doesn't seem as happy these days. I dunno know what it is like to be a big rock star but it must get awful lonely. Its one thing to have someone whip up some tofu
its another thing to have a confidant.

He needs someone in his life that is always growing, changing, like him. A true souls mate. Perhaps he found that in Mani? Mayte was just too young and not grown up enough.

I bet they had fun though!

Does it sadden anyone else to think that his impressive web presence is gone? It brought us closer to the source. Also, if he doesn't tour with 3121, that is such a loss!! Sign of the Times comes to mind.

Prince! You need a friend,

Free Prince!
Love wins. (Seen on bumpersticker)

I'd agree.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

Leave rozilla alone. She(?) was being open and honest and saying what a lot of people feel. The NPGMC, like the Org, was a community and people actually found true friends through it and through their feelings for, love of Prince and his music.

well I wasn't a frequent user of npgmc so I don't miss it. But very intriguing about your take on Prince and Mani... needing a soul mate that is changing and evolving. with her new work in charity... maybe she continues to bring something new, refreshing and stimulating to the table. Maybe that is the reason for his choice with Mani...

what we say maybe the truth, or it maybe a dream, ether way isn't not as bad as those that fear it or wish to crush it.

She was good for his change. She serves his purpose. Politicians do it all the time. They marry the perfect woman but behind closed doors they are screwing the "other" woman wink

Thanks for all the replies. I wrote this obviously before news of the divorce got out.

Its interesting to read other peoples take and to remember this dream. All the people at the top just there as accessories, him going down and down until it was very simple, just him and some basic recording equipment.

Its my subconcious, I rarely have much control over it.
