I really love Vanity and all but I saw this interview with her on youtube and I was shocked at the comment she made about her father...Im not sure if she meant it as he acted like one or b/c he was black...I would shrug it off but after saying that shes like "hes black"...I doubt she was racist because shes 1/2 black and the majority of her men have been also black

I doubt it. You have to remember she was dating Rick James (before P stole her from him) and she was married to a football player in the 90's (that was black)..and she was with P. I seriously doubt she was racist.

I know when I saw him a few years ago, he was still hatin' on prince. People weren't feeling the show because he was drunk, high or something. He said, "ya'll get on up. This ain't no Prince concert." he got some boos for it. I thought it was sorta funny. That had to be the worse concert EVER. Rick was high and talked for an hour or longer, then it was Al green who preached for an hour and 1/2 and Mary J Blige had about 30min for her show and she was the headliner.

Yeah totally. I'm sure she did have major issues with her father but she must have been high during that interview. Actually practicaly EVERY interview I saw with her in the eighties she looked high as hell...expecially when she would go into fits of laughter for no reason.
