ROBIN POWER speaks to fans on this thread!!! Her band "The Uptown Dames" is here too! Hi Folks! I'm back!
I just recently reconnected with Robin Power. She has joined the org and is peresently in the orgs' prerequisite five day waiting period before she can post. Meanwhile, you may ask her questions about her experiences with Prince and Paisley Park etc. and she will answer you soon in this thread. She might communicate through me for a while. She has already started on http://www.prince.org/msg/5/189025 In that thread, Anx asked Robin what her favorite experience was and how she has been enjoying life since then. Answer to come soon. I saw on Robin's public modelling profile that she's residing in Chicago these days...has she heard about the monthly Prince party at Berlin nightclub? She should drop in sometime - no big scheduled appearance or anything, just join the fun and dance some month...we'll even request the long version of "Thieves in the Temple"!  | |

Robin, were there ever any test pressings made of material which featured your vocal input? I remember reading about an alternate version of the New Power Generation single with Eliminate The Negative, Oobey Doop. Was this ever pressed as a test or acetate even? | |

She says she has met millions of people in this lifetime. "In order for me to know who you are, if you did not touch my heard in some specific or special way, then I need to see your face to remember you." (She doesn't not remember a lot about her past, she says.) I'm still on the phone with her and now she thinks your name is vaguely familiar but can't put a face on it. Sorry.

In general, Robin tells me that she would rather answer your questions via posted audio files. I will collect the questions and she will record an audio file that I will post for you. This is all becoming a pain in the butt for me, so please forgive me if this doesn't happen very often.

I guess it's been a long time and when she talks to me she really really talks a lot and I can barely get a word in, so i get confused and can't keep track of what questions to ask next.
