Wendy is a tastefully skilled guitarist. As Katrina already said: If she weren't good, she wouldn't be such a successful session musician.

You hear people say things about others that defy logic, when they'd never say the same about themselves or a group to which they feel they're aligned.

"They're not as good because they're a _____," usually exposes a sea of prejudice.

In the specific case of female guitarists, I hold up the examples of Mlls. Melvoin, Jennifer Turner, Lita Ford, Jennifer Batten and Bonnie Raitt. There are many others. But they help debunk gender-based ignorance with regard to musicianship.
