You didn't hear her voice at the end of"Come On" when she was in the park with Prince as the old man?

Umm, yes, just barely... smile

Some people speak on anothers behalf. You never know if this was the case.

terilicious, I don't think people are being "mysterious". May be that they don't want to name drop, as some call it.

If I "knew" somebody or IF I was "somebody", I wouldn't reveal it here on the org or any other website, unless it was my own. Everybody has an identity and behind that identity is a "member" name. It's a personal choice if one wants to reveal their "real life" identity, but I can understand why some WOULD NOT.

It's obvious the person who said "Lets just say I know..PEACE", has obviosly heard her voice in the real. So have I.

I don't feel one has to prove it by revealing their personal identity.

Oh whatever. Then why even bring it up? And there were better ways than saying "let's just say I know...PEACE"
Lately more and more folks on here claim to have personal contact with p and his camp (and i'm sure some have) but it gets tiresome when folks play these little games. Honestly, saying how you know Mani's voice isn't name dropping. "Let's just say I know" is baiting. Perhaps I'm just more up front. And I'm also getting tired of "i'm an authority. trust me. no i won't back it up" type of posts.

If you're getting tired of .. blah blah blah, thats nobodys fault but yours. You are the one who asked that person "how do you know" lol

Ask, but be careful; you just might get an answer. Might not be the one you want to hear.

She sounds so young and peppy.

From the photos I've seen of her I was expecting some sultry, exotic femme voice worthy of a film noir production lol

She sounds more "regular" than I thought she would.

I guess I expected her voice to be more like the sound of a harpy or maybe a screaming banshee.

I'm so disappointed lol

Why the hell does everybody have to be so damn mysterious on here?

Are the Prince Police gonna come and arrest you for telling how you know Mani's voice?

I wasn't asking you to reveal the secrets of the pyramids or the recipe for Coke, damn!

PEACE

lol again....lawdy

Okay. So let's be clear. It's obviously an official podcast from Sundance. It's really short and clearly a tidbit about what it was like at the festival.

The thing that shocked me is that she sounds like a ditz from LA who reads from a teleprompter on E! Television. And a really young ditz at that (right on, dearlybeloved).

eek

Like somebody else said, she looked like she would sound more sophisticated/mature than she does in the recording. It makes the age gap seem all the more dramatic.

Good grief!
Come here, babe.. yeah...
