I like both, but 3x2=6 is classic.

But then again, lyricwise, perhaps it's the strong political statements of Koo Koo that should be looked into more than the feminist statement of 3x2=6 ...??

I loved Koo Koo and the video which featured Cat and Sheila was fierce (both wearing Prince glasses LOL). The song has similar social themes to Sign'o' The Times...and yet you can dance to it at the same time. One of my all time fav Sheila E jams.

Koo Koo. Excellent video Shelia and Cat. Prince wrote the song about a crazy girl and something about an Abortion.

Yep. I was surprised it was released as a B-side. I tried to share it with everyone I knew. What a cool song. In fact, a lot of Sheila E.'s B-sides were better than most songs on her albums: "Save The People," "Paradise Garden," "The World Is High," "Bass Base" -- what else? All GREAT songs!

I only saw the Koo Koo video once. Very cool. Seemed to fit Prince's "Sign O' The Times" release very well.

One of the first things I looped when I got my first
sampler was the beat from The World is High !! biggrin
Soulsplash, I agree with you about those b sides. I loved "Save The People" the first time I heard it. Great guitar!
The only copy of the Koo Koo video I had got taped over
by mistake! sad
I loved it when it was out.

Sheila was touring with Prince at this time (as his drummer). Too bad she didn't perform any of the songs off of the Sheila E. album. Koo Koo would've been great to see and hear live, especially with Prince & Cat at her side. (Wednesday Like a River & Hold Me are my favs tho).

The B-Side of 'Koo Koo' is called 'Paradise Garden' and that's worth checking out. The other two are on equal planes...
