During the idols performance, I thought Prince said something about John Blackwell and I thought it was him drumming too! I also assume Candy and Maceo will be touring with Prince this summer cause they both will not perform on this year' s North Sea Jazz Festival,and they normally always do! What do you think???

He did not mention John Blackwell during the AI performance, I don't know where you got that from, there was not even a band present, it was performed to a backing tape, so there's no way of telling who was drumming but John Blackwell seems to have been out of the loop since the end of the Musicology tour.

I really doubt that Candy and Maceo will join Prince IF and when he tours this summer (there's just never a guarantee with Prince) I'm sure I heard they each had their own tours planned for the summer but maybe I'm wrong... It is entirely possible for Prince to tour without a horn section, which in my opinion would be a refreshing change.
