(Power just mushes everything together - there is no clear definition between lead and backup vocals - just a whole bunch of multi-tracking.) 5. All good music has easily defined themes and thematic development. (Power's stuff has very subtle thematic development that's minutely incremental and organic.) Not only does she break the rules, she makes it work. If you can get past the bimbo image that the Graffiti Bridge movie and even she imposed upon herself, you might hear she is on to something here.
