Robin, just so you know - when I looked at the "Number One" video, I felt that Paisley Park had portrayed ME as a "bimbo" too. That is the nature of the music biz for us females. I am not a bimbo, but that is how they portrayed me, and I let them. I wasn't judging you, I was judging the music biz. I made a thread awhile ago about Jill jones/Prince regarding a possible incident of violence.

Someone told me they heard from different sources that Prince pushed her down some stairs; do you know if this is true?

As a fan i know Prince can be an asshole and egomaniac but i thought he was better than this?

While it's definitely understandable that people are intrigued by The Dames and what the creative process is like within the walls of Paisley Park...we REALLY need to to cut it out with the personal questions already.

To begin with, they are rude and intrusive. How many of you would like to be invited to a public internet forum about music only to have people grill you with personal questions about your former boyfriend, girlfriend, or lover? ESPECIALLY those based on rumours or hearsay?

Newsflash: all the relentless pursuit of questions having nothing to do with with the ladies' work projects, life and creative philosophies, or true events they have admittedly witnessed firsthand should cease. We are bordering on blind fanaticism in here, probing into peoples' private lives and instigating responses in ways that can get them, or even this site in legal trouble with words like libel, slander, and defamation of character being thrown every which way.

No matter how different all of our personal tastes and philosophies might be, or the lifestyles we individually choose to lead, there should still be a modicum of dignity and respect to the posts that we add to this thread. Please do not continue to insult these artists, as well as the intelligence of members of this board with these gossip mongering questions. They are simply inappropriate.

....having said that, please know that I didn't mean that "bitchy" to the original poster, but enough IS enough !
