This is for true Wendy and Lisa fans. Ok, I was out shopping this weekend, and found a copy of an unrleased CD by Wendy & Lisa. Some of the songs on here are "Drive All Night" "Diggin To China", " I Wanna Get On", and my favorite "I'm In Love Again". The CD has a total of 10 tracks.
Can anyone give me some background about these songs, and when this CD was actually recorded, and why wasn't it released?

Never heard of it before. Are you sure it's not some bogus cd? I wouldn't mind hearing it. Have you ever heard To Trip Is To Fall or Stones and Birth?

I'm VERY sure it's Wendy and Lisa. I have all of their Cd's, well i thought i had them all until i stumbled onto this one. I have "To Trip Is To Fall".

There was a CD put out a few years ago called Friendly Fire it was a double CD set and contained the songs you are asking about. i can't remember who put it out i will check on it when i get home and i will have more info on it. it is a great CD for W&L fans. the audio quality varies on the tracks.

I also think there was a contractual something or rather involved as the main reason it was shelved. I think he could have worked on it some more with them, but that would cost time and money.

Sabotage put out the 2 CD set. the second disc contains song samples that were on wendy&lisa's website as well as some mixes of some of there singles. you can find the track list at cddb.com

I had no intention that a Prince fan who lived in Atlanta during the time who asked me for a copy of the project would make a CD of the material i got from Atlantic.. (this happened during the Love 4OneAnother concert time period). Actually he promised not to bootleg it.. i actually don't care, except for the fact that He has clear studio versions of "Road House Garden" and "Our Destiny" which he allowed me to hear but not copy.. looking back now i should just let him hear the wendy and lisa songs.

Unfortnately he did u guys dirty because the quality he put out on Sabatage is a joke, the quality that i gave him was much better.. at least he could've released it in its purest quality.. i love wendy and lisa, so i'm glad the music is out there.. i wish they would release some new music,, but the sabatage CD is real, they are songs produced by trevor horn that were submitted to Atlantic Records when they were looking for a deal.. oh and Tim has roadhouse garden and our destiny.. Timmy u owe me 2 unreleased songs.. well if i dont ever hear them again on earth, at least i know i will be able to hear them in heaven

no, the contract was never an issue when it came to releasing the music.. after girlbros was released trevor, wendy and lisa flirted with the idea of revisiting the album (which was never intended to be called Friendly Fire btw)...however, the relationship between them was soo sour and the current state of the songs were not up to par with wendy and lisa that it was decided to not revisit and release...trevor wants the stuff out.

trevor kept them under contract and refused to allow them out for seven years.....thats what wendy is talking about when she mentions "contract"...which she has done quit often in interviews.
