That was when I first got into Stevie Ray Vaughan - he was too funky. Jesse Johnson gave him props on his playing in a Guitar World tribute issue. If anyone knows funky, it's JJ!

Damn. That almost brought tears to my eyes. Steveland playing the "SRV" is classic! That answers the long debate if Steveland could play guitar or not.
Brown Mark was gettin' down. A lot of Prince fans that I know (that play bass) diss him but they're wrong. Jesse I have that issue of Guitar World where Jesse gave SRV props. And he was right. | |
