That woman looks more like Carla from Cheers than it does Sheila E. That is so NOT her.

Definetly NOT Sheila...While Sheila did have a fro around this time, that is thankfully not her.

I think it is Sheila, she did play with him shortly prior to his death. I am not convinced it is her one hundred percent though

Yes, you are correct in stating that Sheila played with him but if you look at this ladies face, its much wider than Sheila's and she is stockier than Sheila. Sheila is a very petite woman as well as thinner in the face...IMHO

they don't really show her face til the end, but I don't think that's Sheila. Even back in her 'fro days, Sheila had the same smile, and this woman seems to have a different mouth/smile.

But you never know!

wavesofbliss	oop! sorry. i missed the shot of her face at the end the first time i saw it. and you know it could've been too early. sheila said she played on his last tour which would have been 1981-82. then she went on the road with lionel ritchie. sorry for the false alarm Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND

THat is what I thought too that Sheila E started to tour with Marvin around 82 or 83. So I don't think that woman was Sheila. I think Sheila was touring for George Duke at the time in the late 70s onto early 80s but I am not sure about that one either.

Anyway Marvin Gaye was throwing down though and that is one of my fav songs by him. nod
