By the time Susannah came along it seemed that Prince and Denise were pretty much on the outs. I know that, I am just wondering if his great inspiration for great songs was Vanity... (not sure which songs she actually inspired, since their time together was really so short.) or Susannah (The Beautiful Ones, Adore, Strange Relationship, If I was Ur Girlfriend, *possibly* Condition of the Heart, to name the few I have heard of). I always thought Gotta stop messing around was about Vanity because is sounds like she was kinda promiscious....I could be wrong though...but we all know Wonderful Ass is about her. But someone here said Andre Cymone said Prince actually wrote a bunch of songs about Denise Matthews. Hmmmm..wonder which ones they could be. Hmmm...

I just heard it for the first time on that radio station that I am afraid to name for fear the Purple police will find it. Anyway... I think it is kind of fun to speculate who was the muse for different love ballads. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack
