I'm really digging Jill Jones latley

I never was really a Jill Jones fan...I had not heard her sing to much...but yet I've taken a new interest in her. My curiosity has risen when I started listening to Prince's version of "Baby I'm a trip" alot so...I'm very curious to hear her version. Then at NPG music club I checked out the video to Mia Bocca and ...I'm kinda amazed at how eighties and "Prince" like. It sounds....very...that era if I am explaining it right. Hmmm I think I just might hunt down a copy of her album. Now I can kinda see why people like her alot.

HeyJude

Jill was/is the bomb... Yeah, her range isn't perfect, but she's a great example of true soul shining through.

Search for...
77 Bleeker Street
Baby Cries
G-Spot (live in L.A.)
and the (alternative folk) TWO album with Chris Bruce.

Oh, and "I Do You" with Ryuchi Sakamoto (sp?) and her version of Blondie's "Call Me."

Yeah! Jill's b-sides were so good... 77 Bleeker Street and Baby Cries (Ay Yah) BOTH should have been on the album.
