DJ Rashida also spins at the Temple Bar in Santa Monica, CA. She was on the wheels during a recent gig by rock/funkstress Joi, when Prince and Tamar came into the spot and hung out in the DJ booth with her. A combo act named J Davey opened that night; a female vocalist and a brother playing keyboards and sequencers. Their stuff sounded shockingly like Prince-era music like "Computer Blue." Prince seemed to dig it, he wasn't mad at them! They were allowed up into the booth to meet him during Joi's set. Unfortunately, he didn't get up and jam with them.  | |

God, she's so hot! I didn't even believe she was a real dj--in the video for Black Sweat she just looks way too fine. I thought she was some model just poorly pretending to be a dj. Kinda like the girls in Robert Palmer videos pretended they knew how to play musical instruments. IMO, she's way cuter than the main girl in the BS vid or Tamar. Don't know about the twins, though.
