Susan Rogers has more than likely never spoken to Kevin Smith about Prince. Kevin had his very own first hand horror story to tell after being hired by Prince in 2001 to film the Rainbow Children celebration week. Susan was interviewed by staff from Uptown magazine for the various publications they have produced. No one has said how Prince feels about Susan's remembrances. The only reference to them has been an old Observer interview from the 'slave' days:

I have no confidentiality agreement with P. And I am the President / CEO http://www.acgcorp.com I don’t think it would make much since for me to have a privacy contract with my own company

After leaving Prince in 1985, he kicked a serious cocaine habit and became an evangelist, setting up Big Chick's Ministries and speaking in schools and prisons. He died without life insurance for his widow, Linda, and their six children.

The song "Old Friends 4 Sale" was written in 1985 and was featured in Prince's movie "Under The Cherry Moon" but not included on the soundtrack "Parade". The original song contained lyrics with veiled references about the firing of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis of The Time and "Big" Chick Huntsberry, his former bodyguard, who supposedly sold a fictious story about Prince to a tabloid to support his cocaine habit. The song was re-recorded in 1991 with less personal lyrics, and released in 1996.

I would just like to encourage ShellAnswerMan to post stories and more fantastic pictures.

I love the fact that he doesn't have a confidentiality agreement because sometime I wonder if those in the Prince camp actually realize his fans love him. Those of us who have been Prince fans for any amount of time more than likely already have cemented opinions about him, so at this point finding out something about his favorite food, or how many push-ups he can do, or seeing some of his former bandmates eating a bag of Doritos, is not likely to change our minds about him. Most of us already know what a musical genius he is, and already know that Prince has been a jerk and could be unfair as well. What else is new? I don't think fans have to know every single personal detail about him or his camp during those days, and from what I can tell ShellAnswerMan is not here to do that. But getting all bent out of shape for showing a picture of someone having their make-up applied, or telling a story of how a crazy fan tried to climb the fence of his home, or telling a story of how Gregory Brooks woke up everyone on the plane one night with his snoring, is not likely to hurt anyone or again change Prince's fans minds. Some of you guys need to lighten up.

An aquantiace of mine said she remembers when Prince came into this club she worked at. She saw him sitting by himself and waltz over there...she was going to sit on his lap as that is normal but decided to sit by him instead..she was trying to be friendly but he just gave her the "death stare" as she put it. And just was very uncommunitive...which surpises me because she's a pretty girl and very tiny so you think he'd like that but she just got tired of trying to be nice to him and left. Just stuff like that you know....I guess strangers make him feel uncomfortable which is totally fine and he has every right to be protective of himself but it would ruin the fantasy for a fan but this is what most people say they see him as. Which makes me SOOOO glad I've never met him....if Prince was mean to me I'd go cry or something! He's like my idol!
