I seen this cd on the new power radio website, and heard snips of songs. How does this cd compare to the other Time cds, Ice Cream castles, etc..?

There are a few good songs here ("Jerkout","It's Your World","Sometimes I Get Lonely",title track),but I don't think this CD is one of their best.Much of it sounds messy and unfocused.

The only essential Time albums are the self-titled debut and 'What Time Is It'

Hey, Pandemonium was a good album. It has some jams on there like "Jerkout","It's Your World","Sometimes I Get Lonely", Chocolate, Skillet, and the title track. Besides, The Time got their first number one single from this album "Jerk Out", if I can recall.

I would disagree. Skillet, Blondie, Jerk Out and a few others are as good as anything else in their catalog.

I loved the fact that it had more than the usual 6 songs that The Time would release, and that alone is worth the price of admission.

I agree with mad on the having more than 6 songs. I always thought 6 tracks for a whole album was a rip-off, regardles on how long the songs were. The tracks that Jesse was involved with are my faves on that album. I like Mazarati's version of Jerk Out better.

Well its definetly better than ice Cream castle's and i would put it even with the first album and behind What time is is?

The thing that drags it down are the extra tracks they are ok, but nothing great.

Corporate World is Ok
Murph Drag is a jam and a half, but the rest of it seems more like solo Morris material than a Time album even though it was Prince, Morris and jerome that did most of it

not near as good as any of their other three, but as good as any of Moriss solos

After "If the Kid Can't Make You Come," whining about loneliness just seemed a little odd. Blondie was cute. But lacked any real teeth. The best Time albums were probably the first 2, Ice Cream Castles had attitude going for it. Pandemonium? Better than Morris's solo projects..but nowhere hear as comparable as the earlier Time stuff..

It actually features other members, most notably Jesse Johnson - his solos are all over the place and he wrote/co-wrote "Jungle Love". "Ice Cream Castles" isn't the "full Time", but it's more of a Time project than the first two.

I dig it just for the JJ solos on "Jungle Love" "My Drawers" and the funky rhythm guitar on the title track.

I liked this disc, though "What Time Is It?" is my Time fav. This one had more of a rock edge due to "Skillet" and "Blondie". I thought the grooves were awesome, though "Chocolate" doesn't really need a whole segue about having dinner does it? SAY TOOTSIE ROLL!

My fav time album. And "donald trump (black version)" is one of my fav ballads/slowjams ever. Love the harmonies on that cut.



And "blondie" has a hell of a guitar solo on the break.

Yes there were some parts on it that included the rest of the band, but Jesse's solos were mostly actually Prince and Prince recorded over a lot of Jesse's stuff. That was what chased Jesse out of the band. Jellybeans drumming is on a track or two, but it really was mostly just Prince, Morris and sometimes Jerome.

On Pandemonium, the rest of The Time was much more involved.

I like 'Pandemonium' more than the first Time album actually. It's a lot more varied with the other members contributing for a change. The Jesse songs are killer and the Jam & Lewis tracks I think are top notch also. The one song I could do without is Prince's "Data Bank".
