Easily one of the funkiest shows I've seen, a brilliant night at one of London's greatest venues

Highlights for me were:
Superstition, Days Of Wild (heavy guitar instrumental break), I Wanna Be Your Lover, Controversy, Uptown (Bass guitar lick a la the 2001 Prince Celebration version), Everyday People, Release Yourself (w/Maceo's guitarist), Hey Joe (finale)

Hotly tipped newcomer Kip Blackshire steps out from the shadows of his former employer and band leader, Prince, and takes centre-stage at the Jazz Cafe for an exclusive London show.
The 29-year singer was first discovered when Prince overheard him singing in the restroom of his Paisley Park studio complex. He was subsequently invited to join a private jam session with Carlos Santana and Larry Graham from Sly and the Family Stone and within weeks, Blackshire was touring the arenas of the world singing backup on Prince's world tour.
The Arkansas native has since shared the stage with the likes of George Clinton, Erykah Badu and Lenny Kravitz among others and his unique take on soul and r&b and vocal riffing is sure to win him many fans on this side of the pond.
Kip Blackshire's latest album, The Eleventh Hour, will be available to buy at the show

Days Of Wild - cussing or not?

Interesting he does so many Prince songs.

And that sign in the back: Does that say "STFU during performances - thanx!"?

Quite possibly, but it may have been even more appropriate to comment on the actual post? lol
I don't care, they can move it if need be, I'm leaving work now so...

p.s. I personally thought there were far too many 3121 posts, there was an evident need for something less numerically challenged smile

Nope, instrumentals generally don't contain much cussing
