actually, i had blueberry gossip on cassette.... that's the one with everyday poeple remake, right? And Jesse all over the record screaming "good god!'

Come to think of it, I think I only had the original one on a tape I copied from a friend or the library (remember those dual deck boom boxes in the 80s?)

Now I have it on MP3 that was converted. I would have bought the real CD if it were available.

Yeah, I have both albums - You can find Blueberry Gossip cheap on CD still, but the first album gets rather expensive, only have the vinyl myself.

I'm a fan of Jesse's stuff in general, but the first Ta Mara album is a favourite of mine love

The first one is great, especially if you like revue, the second one is weaker, but the title track kicks ass

The first album was damn near exactly like Jesse's first joint. I liked her second better, especially "Blueberry" with the backwards guitar solos.

I'm willing to bet Jesse pulled a Prince and played all the instruments on both Ta Mara and The Seen LPs despite what the album credits say.

I don't know, but then again, in Jesse's eyes "It's a free world and it's MINE!" lol

I love the first album all the way through. I only like one or two tracks on the second album.

"Affection" was a DOPE ASS SONG!!!!! AND, if u listen closely, after the guitar solo fades out at the end (cut 'em Jesse), u can hear SOMEONE whisper "don't f**k with me". Question is, is it Jesse or TaMara???? That 1st album was DOPE!!!!! Got it in the crates. lol lol lol lol

I have an original record label pressed cd I bought last year for 40 bucks and I listened to it again. I heard TaMara's voice. Thank you for that tid-bit of information. I never caught that on the album. Wow you learn something new everyday.

It's PROBABLY evrything that didn't make the first Jesse (Revue) album. Same with Blueberry Gossip. Sounds eerily similar to Every Shade Of Love. I remember the Summer Of 88 VERY WELL. Nevertheless, Ms. Cox is a GREAT singer. And, once again, Jesse one-upped Prince in that department I must/dare say!!!!!
