Like whoa... I didn't even know this version existed until I just saw a stream of the "Drive Me Wild" video!

So it's on a 45 rpm 12" single backed with "Bite The Beat", ha? Might haffa keep my eye open this year.


See, now something like this should be remastered and put on CD. I would love to have a DVD of Vanity 6's videos: "Nasty Girl", "He's So Dull", and "Drive Me Wild".

Always loved the "Drive Me Wild" remix lots better than the album version.

Y'all don't even understand how much I loved the album version of "Drive Me Wild" in the first place, and now this remix has blown my mind!

I think that's one of the first 12 Inches I remember buying that had a speed of 45 RPM. I remember putting the needle on at 33 RPM and going .

Is it actually extended or is it the album version on a 12 Inch? I never knew that one existed.

It's extended Andy - About a minute and a half longer

It adds a largely instrumental 'bass and percussion' breakdown halfway through the track.

I've never seen a "remastered" Vanity 6 CD. All the pirated copies that appear on ebay are trying too hard to pass for the original disc so no extra tracks on those.
